Music for Dance

This section recognises the strong link and potential for collaboration between music and dance. The starters and plenaries can be used in a self-contained unit of work which studies the historical and modern-day association of music with dance or within a cross-curricular project which links the two media.

‘Music for Dance’ is one of the Areas of Study in the AQA specification for Music GCSE, but these activities are equally suitable for Key Stage 3 students.
