Spatial puzzles

Since the puzzles in this section all involve geometry of one kind or another, they are good for developing students’ spatial awareness. Many of them also have a strong element of logic or lateral thinking, and so can work well in a class discussion where students suggest and evaluate different approaches to finding a solution.

Several of the PowerPoint files in this section contain more than one slide. This gives you the option of asking students to guess what they are going to be asked to do before revealing the entire puzzle.
