Images and feelings

These presentations can be used to learn about the relationships between colour, shape and mood in visual art. This work also introduces some key ideas about abstract art, both how to appreciate it and also some ways it might be created.

Examples of the work of Wassily Kandinsky (1866–1944) are an important addition to this. Images and information about his work are widely available on the Internet and a great place to start is The Artchive (see below).
