Phonic Cues

Jenny Murray

Give children the best start in reading

Children need to be able to read without difficulty, in a fluent and clear manner. Synthetic phonics has become widely accepted as a key way to achieve this, and the National Curriculum requires that children learn ‘phonemic awareness and phonic knowledge’.

The Phonic Cues series is made up of three packs, each containing a range of activities and games to build phonics and general reading skills. The packs contain, dice, word cards, word wheels, booklets to make and full teacher’s notes.

The material can be used with children in reception, and with older primary children who need extra help with basic reading.
