Understand your school’s ‘climate’ better
Evaluate is an exciting online self-evaluation service specifically designed for headteachers and
principals. Fully compatible with Ofsted self-evaluation requirements, Evaluate enables
schools and colleges to appraise their present and potential
effectiveness. This is done by assessing the school’s current levels of
perceived performance against 11 key characteristics.
The full Evaluate service gathers,
analyses and compellingly presents the perceptions of your key
constituencies:
- staff
- governors
- parents and carers
- pupils.
A key tool for any headteacher or principal who is:
- facing inspection in the next 18 months
- new to the post and assessing their organisation’s current situation
- driving forward school improvement
- embarking on a new round of development planning
- monitoring staff morale and building cohesion
- keen to report on whole school/college issues to governors and
parents/carers.
Evaluate can readily be used in
conjunction with other systems designed to help you with
self-evaluation, focusing as it does on canvassing views and
providing vital evidence that is usually so very difficult to
gather and use effectively.
The Evaluate system is designed to be both
practical and manageable.

and increased effectiveness. Subsequent uses of the service
