Useful, time-saving resources

This pack offers a series of listening exercises designed for GCSE students. Music is drawn from a wide variety of styles, including music for film, dance, special events, orchestral landmarks and the popular song since 1960.

Questions fully explore the musical materials required for examination papers, covering melody and harmony, rhythm and metre, instrumentation and texture, dynamics, musical devices, tonalities, structures and notations. Answers are provided.

In order to reduce costs, the extracts use the same list of tracks (music not provided) as those required for the KS3 Music Listening Exercises.
