Sikhs

The word ‘Sikh’ means ‘disciple’. Every Sikh is considered to be a disciple of the ten Gurus.

A person is initiated into Sikhism through a ceremony known as the amrit ceremony.

Once initiated, a Sikh becomes a member of the Khalsa (the Sikh community), and is expected to wear the five Ks.
