Muhammad (pbuh) also provided an example for how each human being should lead their life. The example of Muhammad’s (pbuh) life was recorded in a collection of books known as the Hadith. This is especially valuable since Muhammad (pbuh) is believed to be the last prophet of Allah. Because Muhammad (pbuh) is the last prophet of Allah, he is also referred to as ‘the seal of the prophets’.

Muslims show Muhammad (pbuh) the utmost respect by always saying a blessing after they speak his name. The most common blessing given is ‘peace be upon him’. This is why you will often see the letters ‘pbuh’ after Muhammad’s (pbuh) name.
