Ramadan

return

Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic lunar calendar. It is set aside for the practice of Sawm, the fourth pillar of Islam. During Ramadan, Muslims fast from sunrise to sunset.

The Qur’an was also first revealed to Muhammad (pbuh) during Ramadan on a night known as Laylat ul-Qadr (the Night of Power).
