Lord Rama is an avatar of Vishnu and the hero of the Ramayana. He was a prince known for his skill, strength and moral uprightness. He is always depicted with a bow and a quiver of arrows.
The Ramayana tells of how Lord Rama was sent into exile with his wife, Sita, and his younger brother, Lakshman. Lakshman is known for his loyalty to his brother.
Sita was abducted by the evil demon, Ravana, but was ultimately rescued by Rama.
Lord Rama, like Krishna, is often represented with blue skin to emphasise that he was a very different kind of person.
