Using additional files
A range of supplementary files is provided. These may be word processing, presentation graphics or portable document format (PDF) files. To access these, either click on the links found in the resource, or click on the Resources tab and then select Additional files from the left-hand menu. All the files can also be found in the folder on your disc called digital_files. You will need Microsoft® Word, PowerPoint and Adobe Reader, or other compatible software, to open these files. If your computer does not already have Adobe Reader installed, visit the Adobe Reader website to download the appropriate installer.
Following a link to a file may open it within a browser window. To save a file so that it can be opened in the relevant software and edited, right-click on the link and select Save Target As.... In the folder where you have saved the file, right-click on the file icon, select Properties and untick the Read-only attribute. Note that if you do not have the fonts used in the files, your operating system will replace them with fonts that you are able to use.
Videos
Video material is provided as part of the case study. The videos need a modern web browser to work within this interface. If you want to use them for INSET or as part of your own material, you can find the files in the folder on your disc called videos. These are in MP4 format and are compatible with most systems.
