About the author
Nicolas Kinloch is Head of History and Russian at the Netherhall School and Sixth Form College, Cambridge. He is a vice-president of the Historical Association, and is also a member of its Secondary Education Committee. He is co-editor of Teaching History and of Hindsight, the GCSE History magazine. He is also a monthly contributor to BBC History Magazine.
