The Nishan Sahib

return

The Nishan Sahib is the name given to the flag that is seen flying outside every gurdwara. It is a triangular piece of saffron-coloured (orange/yellow) cloth with the Khanda emblem in the middle. You can also see the Khanda on the very top of the flagpole.

Guru Har Gobind introduced the use of the Nishan Sahib.
