Guru Gobind Singh (1666–1708 CE) was the founder of the Khalsa (the Sikh community) and the last of the Gurus. He completed the Guru Granth Sahib and established it as the only Guru to come after him. He is also known as the saint-soldier, as he led the Khalsa into battle to defend his faith.
